This dye has toning quality which works best with level 10 hair. To get the ultimate results, we recommend lightening your hair to level 9 or 10 (blonde) with our High-Lift Bleach Kit before you apply your dye. You can still use the dye on level 8 hair, but the results will be tonal at best.
