How the Treatment Works
The service typically takes about two hours in a salon and follows a three-step process:
- Preparation: Hair is washed with a clarifying shampoo and dried to roughly 80%.
- Application: The SmoothFiller formula—which contains only eight ingredients—is applied to sections of the hair and left to develop for 20 minutes before being rinsed out.
- Activation: The hair is blow-dried until completely dry and then sealed with a flat iron. Straighten the hair in small sections, repeat 6-10 passes per section.This heat activates the organic acids in the formula to create new, stable bonds inside the hair fiber.
